Lawrence L. Ferree, III

Larry Ferree has been a shareholder at the firm since 1980.  He was licensed to practice law in Kansas and Missouri in 1974.  He is also admitted as an attorney in the United States District Courts for Kansas and Missouri, and in the United States Courts of Appeals for the Eighth and Tenth Circuits. 

Mr. Ferree completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas (B.S. 1969), and pursued his legal education at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (J.D. 1973).  He is a member of the Kansas, Missouri, Johnson County, and Greater Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Associations.  He was elected vice-president (1998–1999), president-elect (1999–2000) and president (2000–2001) of the Johnson County Bar Association.  Since 1999, he has served as a board member of the Johnson County Bar Foundation.  Judges and other attorneys have designated him to be BV® Distinguished™ Peer Review RatedSM by Martindale-Hubbell®.

G. Peter Bunn, III

Pete Bunn has been a shareholder at the firm since 1980.  After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in 1971 and his Juris Doctor in 1975 from the University of Kansas, he was admitted to the State Bar of Kansas in 1975.  He is a member of the Kansas and Johnson County Bar Associations, and has been a longtime, active member of the Family Law Bench-Bar Committee. From 2006 to the present, Mr. Bunn has been an instructor for the Johnson County Domestic Court Services Solid Ground course. Judges and other attorneys have designated him to be AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review RatedSM by Martindale-Hubbell®.

Keven M. P. O'Grady

Keven O'Grady joined the firm in 1986 and became a shareholder in 1996.  He was admitted to Kansas state, federal and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeal courts in 1987.  He received his undergraduate degree from Rockhurst College (B.A. 1984) and his law degree from the University of Kansas (J.D. 1987).  As a member of the Kansas and Johnson County Bar Associations, Mr. O'Grady served as the president-elect (1998–1999) and president (1999–2000) of the Kansas Bar Association's Family Law Section, and he was a member of the board from 1998 to 2001 and 2003 to 2005. From 1998 to the present, he has been the chair of the Johnson County Bar Association's Family Law Bench-Bar Committee.  Mr. O'Grady is a frequent speaker on family law topics, including divorce practice, child custody and support, bankruptcy and divorce issues, the division of property, spousal support, and legal ethics in family law.  Judges and other attorneys have designated him to be BV® Distinguished™ Peer Review RatedSM by Martindale-Hubbell®.

In 2005, Mr. O’Grady was named Attorney of the Year by CASA of Johnson and Wyandotte County. He has been selected as a “Super Lawyer” by Law and Politics/KC Magazine in both 2005 and 2010 and is listed in Cambridge’s Who’s Who for 2010–11.

Mr. O’Grady was awarded the Kansas Bar Association Pro Bono Certificate in 2010. From 2008 to the present, he has been a member of the Kansas Supreme Court’s Self Represented Party Study Group.

Mr. O'Grady practices primarily in the areas of family law, business law, and litigation.  He also assists clients and other attorneys by serving as a mediator in family law cases.

Mr. O’Grady is married and resides with his wife in Prairie Village, Kansas. They are parents of three children. He is involved in several community and church activities. An avid soccer fan and high school soccer referee, he also enjoys running, music and the arts, but particularly enjoys traveling to visit his children away at college or at their new homes.

Ronald C. Rundberg

Ron Rundberg joined the firm in 1991 and became a shareholder in 1998.  He obtained his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law (J.D. 1991), after graduating from MidAmerica Nazarene College (B.A. cum laude 1980).   He is licensed to practice law in Kansas, Missouri, U.S. District Courts for the District of Kansas, Eastern District of Missouri, Western District of Missouri, as well as in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. Mr. Rundberg is a member of the Kansas, Missouri and Johnson County Bar Associations. Mr. Rundberg has been a speaker on topics related to divorce, the impact of divorce on business, and adoption. Judges and other attorneys have designated him to be BV® Distinguished™ Peer Review RatedSM by Martindale-Hubbell®. Mr. Rundberg has been selected to Cambridge's Who's Who.

Prior to graduating from law school, Mr. Rundberg co-founded an adoption agency, where he was executive director.  Previously, he was the general manager of a family-owned manufacturing company.  Mr. Rundberg also has personal experience in dealing with the impact of divorce. This diverse background gives him unique insight into the issues facing his clients.

Mr. Rundberg lives with his wife in Olathe, Kansas.  They have five adult children and six grandchildren.  He is active in community and church activities. 

Mr. Rundberg's practice is primarily focused on cases that require court action.  He has extensive experience in the areas of divorce and other family law matters, business and general civil litigation, and adoption. 

Carl C. Radom

Carl Radom joined the firm in 2001 and became a shareholder in 2004.  He is admitted to practice law in New York, Indiana, Florida, and Virginia, as well as in Kansas and Missouri.  He graduated cum laude from Niagara University (B.A. 1970) and he received his legal education at the State University of New York at Buffalo (J.D. 1973).  He also has the advanced law degree of Master of Laws in Estate Planning from the University of Miami (LL.M. 1981). 

He was president of the Estate Planning Council of Western Kansas in both 1984 and 1987 and the vice-president of the Western Kansas Council of Estate Planning and Giving from 1992 to 1996. He served as the Director of Education for the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys from 1996 to 1998. In 1990, he was the District Treasurer of the Rotary Club. Currently, he serves on the Board of Trustees of the Fort Hays State University Endowment Association and Children's Mercy Hospital Planned Giving Council. In 2006, he was featured in the Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers. In 2009 and 2010, he was also recognized by Kansas City’s Best Personal Wealth Managers.

Kirk Ridgway earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Kansas in 1992. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1995. Mr. Ridgway joined Ferree, Bunn, O’Grady & Rundberg, Chartered in 1995 and became a shareholder in 2004.

He is licensed to practice in the states of Kansas and Missouri, the United States District Courts in Kansas and Missouri, and the United States District Court of Appeal for the Tenth Circuit.

Mr. Ridgway is a member of the Kansas and Johnson County Bar Associations.
